Privacy Policy
Forma ("the app", "we") is a workout tracking and remote coaching app. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password, or your Apple ID identifier if you sign in with Apple.
- Fitness data you log — workouts, exercises, sets (weight, reps, RPE), personal records, programs, and body-focused stats derived from them.
- Social & coaching data — friend connections made via friend codes, programs you share, coach–athlete relationships, workout recaps, and comments exchanged with your coach.
- Form videos — videos you choose to upload for coach review. They are stored at unguessable links and are not listed publicly; anyone with a video's exact link can view it.
- Purchase status — whether your coaching subscription is active. Payment itself is handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
How we use it
- To provide the app's features: logging workouts, tracking progress, sharing programs, and coaching.
- To send transactional email only (for example, password-reset emails). We do not send marketing email.
- To verify subscription entitlements so paid coaching features work.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the app's features.
Sharing
Your data is visible to others only through features you use: coaches you connect with can see your workouts, stats, and videos you share with them; friends can see what you choose to share. We rely on a small number of service providers to run the app: cloud hosting and storage (Replit), subscription management (RevenueCat), in-app purchases and sign-in (Apple), and transactional email delivery (Google/Gmail). These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us at forma.workout.support@gmail.com.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
Children
Forma is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
